Evan did his PhD at the University of Lethbridge before going to Germany to do a Postdoc at the Max Planck Institute.</div>

He now works on bacterial efflux pumps that provide pathogenic bacteria antibiotic resistance using a combination of microbiology and single-molecule FRET.</div>
