Hi everyone,

this year's *Chinook Symposium for Chemistry and Biochemistry* is just
around the corner! Get ready for a great day of science on *Friday,* *September
19, 2025*. Posters will be put all over the department this week to
advertise the event.

*Abstract submission is now open *for:

   - *poster* presentations (open to everyone; abstract submission closes
   on *September 8*)
   - *oral* presentations (open to MSc and PhD students; abstract
   submission closes on *September 1*).


The Chinook Symposium is a fantastic opportunity for everyone to share work
performed over the last year or so, whether you are an undergrad, a grad
student, a postdoc, or a high school student. Make sure to let your
supervisors know that you wish to attend the symposium, and make sure to
register early!
