[Demelerlab] Sunday lab session cancelled

Everyone, the cells did not grow, so unfortunately there won't be any
minipreps to process tomorrow. We are instead going to make competent
cells on Monday, provided we can get our DH5alpha stocks to grow tonight.
Then we will make our own competent cells and redo the ligation reaction
with concentrated DNA backbone/insert. For now, it doesn't make sense to
come in tomorrow, so that session is cancelled. We will also try to plate
the remaining transformation mixture and re-incubate to see if anything
will still grow on the plates. Also, there is a seminar by Isaac Li, a
guest speaker from British Columbia who works with DNA (
https://lilab.ok.ubc.ca/) at 9:00 am in SA8002, so everyone who can make it
is encouraged to show up for that.

Saeed: On Monday please come into the lab, as we will all go out for lunch
(my treat) instead of lab meeting - Sophia will also be back and join us.
