Hello,



Again, a huge thank you for your time and knowledge during last week’s
InSTEM Expo. At the event some of our instructors were very interested in
having you folks take part in the summer camps they are planning.



In this email I will outline the weeks they are running and themes they
have chosen. If the theme seems interesting to you simply let us know what
day works. STEM activities usually fall under the following times but if
these times do not work for you that is no problem we will set the day
around your availability:

   - 9:15am-10:15am
   - 10:45am-12:15pm
   - 12:45pm-1:45pm



Those times can be changed to fit the needs of your day or lab so do not
worry if you are only available outside of those times. If you have a lab
that is available to be toured or if you would like to run an activity
works for us. The instructor may even have an idea they would like to
explore once they are put in touch with you.



Here are the Camp weeks interested in Mentor Visits and the themes they are
looking at:

   - July 6th-10th – Bio and Beyond Camp Gr. 5-7
      - Theme: Biology in Action – looking at the subsections of Biology
      and exploring how the interact in the real world
   - July 13th-17th – InnovateHer Gr. 5-7
      - Theme: Underground City/Exploration – All girls camp any
      opportunity to highlight Women in STEM would be wonderful. This
instructor
      was interested in inviting some of the female Neuroscience grad
students to
      show some of the reference collection if available.
   - August 10th-14th – InnovateHer Gr. 3-4
      - Theme: Underground City/Exploration – All girls camp any
      opportunity to highlight Women in STEM would be wonderful but with a
      slightly younger audience. But looking for the same thing as above.



There may also be some interest during the week of June 29th within our
InSTEM camp, but we must see how mentors land closer to camp so I may reach
out again. If any of the above camps look interesting and you have the
availability just let us know and we will get you in touch with the
instructor planning the camp to coordinate the details. Thank you very much
