Some ideas:
Web speaker series between UofL and UofM
Student exchange for training with biophysical tools: UofL (AUC/MST/etc.) UofL (FCS/TIRF microscopy)
Annual event to bring students together (e.g. this June Bo is organising AUC workshop and in July Sandy is organising Microscopy workshop). Students from UofL and UofM visit either university to attend such workshops.
We have Biophysics course from Bo, Methods in Biochemistry that covers application of biophysical and structure biology tools (which I and HJ taught) and Crystallography  course (Steve M)…so at least 3 courses. We also teach RNA Biology and Molecular Immunology that have a lot of biophysical flavour to it.

BTW: I registered for a microscopy course that Sandy is organising in July. Darren/Tyler/Corey, if you would like to join, please register. I can take you with me.

I have attached an email i have received from the BPS. Basically, they want me (us) to justify why and how we will foster collaboration and a growth in biophysics between our university and the U of M.

Any and all suggestions on what to respond with would be great.

I hope you are well. Thanks for submitting your chapter application. We are in the process of reviewing your application and would like for you to expand on how you would work together. We realized that the schools are over 300 miles away. Can you let us know what your plans are for collaborating and growing the chapter, especially since Lethbridge only has one course dedicated to biophysics?
