As we discussed, the top of the position is sensitive to the rotor stretch
(speed dependent) and the cell geometry.
Instead of hardcoding 5.87, please use the upper edge (the lower radial
position in the cell geometry) and add 1. the rotor stretch and then 0.07
cm (the 0.07 cm can be hardcoded for testing). For most cells and
experiments, 5.87 cm will be  close to this position, but taking care of
rotor stretch and cell geometry will make this approach more robust.
