[Demelerlab] uslims server slowness

Emre and I are currently investigating a server slowness that started on
Friday and has not resolved itself. We have not been able to identify the
problem, but have noticed some unusual usage patterns. In particular, Haben
and Reece have an inordinate large number of ssh login sessions active.
There is no reason for that. You need one session for the VNC tunnel,
that's all. I have a feeling you guys start new ones from Windows without
ctrl-C'ing the old ones first, and they just stack up.

To check if this is related, I want both of you to log into uslims.uleth.ca
and save all your work, and then let me know, so I can kill all of these
sessions and see if this resolves the problem. Worst case, we will need to
reboot the server and check the IDRAC for issues with the RAID. Please let
me know when you have saved your work so I can reset your account.
