The DOSY data of the protein and mixtures should shed some light in its size and degree of association with the SDS.

Without doing a complete assignment we can probably identify what type AAs are involved with interactions with SDS through changes in there shifts.  However we cannot be unambiguous about which one in particular it is in the sequence.

Relaxation  times of the H-alpha will give use some insights into changes in ptn dynamics. The NH signal can tell us about the motion in the alpha helical regions. The buried methyl signals can tell us about  the hydrophobic regions.

Any ambiguities would be lifted with a full assignment, however a worthwhile endeavor, will take a lot of time.
